Pretty dress, odd fit/design
First, the fabric is just lovely - lightweight and with a gorgeous pattern. And the decorative stitching at the neckline is so pretty! But there are some odd bits to this dress. First, the back looks like it should be the front - it looks like a pretty, drape-y crossover v-neck. I had to refer back to the catalog photo to be sure I'd put it on correctly. Second, the waistline hits me too high, making the skirt hang straight down from my ribcage and giving me a shapeless, boxy look - not at all like the feminine cut shown on the model. For reference, I am 5'7 and 130 lbs. I normally wear an XS. In this case the XS is still a bit roomy. I'm debating returning vs. moving the buttons closer together to cinch in the high waist a bit more.
