weird waist
Pretty fabrics, but the cut of the waist is so weirdly placed. It’s not a dropwaist, and it’s not a natural waist, but somewhere in between and I felt it wasn’t attractive which is to bad, because I really love a patchwork look. I returned it. Additionally, I’ve found the XS size has experienced shrunkflation. I’m an XXS on the size chart, but I like to order a size up, and I have over a hundred XS April Cornell dresses, but all the recent ones are smaller. I wonder what they changed in the design process…

I find this dress very cheerful, feminine, breezy, and versatile. Pockets are always a plus for me! The heaven coverup looks great with it for those times you need a light sleeve. Happy with this purchase!

This patchwork dress is perfect - perfect mix of prints with a loose, beautiful construction. I generally prefer the more fitted dresses, but this just looks so natural, flowing, and summery tied loosely in the back with the drop waist giving a relaxed feel.
