First time buying “short” dress
This is a great dress. Well made, looks great on and is very comfortable. The short is much shorter than other AC dresses but since I have to shorten them all by 3-5”, I thought this might work. Falls on me just below my knee. Perfect!

Plus size review
I am a new customer to April Cornell. I have never seen such lovely sewing with the inside seams immaculately done. I was concerned that once I washed the dress, it would be a wrinkly mess, but no - I washed in cold water and hung to dry. It dried so smoothly with no wrinkles. I did toss it in the dryer for a few minutes to get it feeling silky, but the dress was gorgeous after washing. Got many compliments.

Gorgeous cut and color... In time for the Holidays
I took a chance on this one. I am 5'2" and weigh 138. The small fits perfect. April Cornell needs to start making petites. This "short" dress is more like the longer ones are supposed to look. . . which is fine with me. . .but when I buy the midi or maxi dresses they are way to long and have to have them hemmed adding 25 to 35 dollars to the price, because I am short. Petite sizes please! From now on if I want a midi, I will order the shorter dresses.
