Heather Pinafore

I received the Heather Pinafore recently and I love it. First, I am tall (5’11”) and it’s rare I find dresses with ample length. The fabric is a nice, medium weight with good drape and a lovely, woodsy pattern. There are also a couple of special touches that you can’t tell from the photos or product description, including crochet-covered buttons that match the crochet trim on the neckline, and fabric ties that un-button (in case you want to wear it loose or with a belt). This is yet another April Cornell purchase I’m delighted with. My only criticism is I wish they would have used the crochet-covered buttons down the length of the pinafore instead of just on the bodice. The green buttons they used on the skirt are fine but nothing special. Overall, this will be a comfortable and versatile addition to my wardrobe.

The buttons are not in alignment, which makes it pucker in the front. I had to realign them, and I am still not finished. Quite a lot pf work, but I hesitate to return it as I already returned one which was way too big. I am a 16-18, and was told I needed an XXL. Wrong! XL fits fine. I love the pinafore, but very unhappy with misalignment of buttons .

This dress makes me feel like fall. The colors are soft, warm and burnished. When I wear it in Florida ( my home), I’m reminded of falling leaves and warm fireplaces . A joy to wear!!

I just love this dress! The pattern is beautiful and the dress fit perfectly! I ordered a size M. I'm 5'5". I weigh 135. Got lots of compliments!

The pattern on this is so pretty and I love the flow of the fabric. Arrived quick, fits perfectly, delighted!

Bought this fall print more casual style pinafore/jumper to wear more for everyday errands..it fits perfectly.
